Bank of China Investment Management Co., Ltd. (BOCIM), subsidiary of Bank of China, recently donates RMB 100,000 to the mudslide-hit Zhouqu County in Gansu Province through the Red Cross Society of China. Besides, BOCIM initiates a donation of "Show Love to Zhouqu Disaster Area" inside the company, appealing for staff's help to the affected people. Now the staff's donation has been delivered to the Red Cross.
BOCIM has always been committed to fulfill its corporate social responsibilities. In April of 2010, right after the earthquake in Yushu County in Qinghai Province, the company donated RMB 220,000 to the disaster area. In 2008, upon learning the Wenchuan earthquake, its staff immediately donated money, tents and other emergency supplies to support the relief efforts in the disaster area.
