Introduction
The Great Wall National Fitness Card is issued by Bank of China with special authorization of the General Administration of Sport of China, and it is the only debit card authorized to be marked with "National Fitness Day".
Functions
1. One card linking multiple accounts
The card can be linked to multiple accounts in multiple currencies including common current account, all-in-one current account and all-in-one time account so as to get rid of the inconvenience and risk incurred from carrying many passbooks around.
2. ATM service
Customers can handle various transactions such as cash withdrawal, deposit (on CRS), account transfer, and balance inquiry on ATMs at Bank of China's networked outlets at any time. Customers can also handle cash withdrawal, inquiry and other transactions on ATMs bearing the UnionPay logo at home and abroad without being subject to service hour restraints.
3. Card payment
With the card and the preset password, customers can make payment for consumption by swiping card at the bank's appointed partners and merchants with "UnionPay" logo (shopping malls, hotels and entertainment venues) home and abroad without any handling fee. With this card, customers can save a lot of trouble of carrying cash.
4. Telephone banking and online banking
Customers may apply for Bank of China's telephone banking and online banking services to be informed of the account dynamics, pay utilities fees at any time and learn about the latest news on exchange rate and interest rate for easy wealth management.
5. Investment and wealth management
Customers can easily handle various kinds of financial investment transactions such as book-entry T-bond, open-end funds, Forex Facility, bank-securities link and bank-securities transfer, which will facilitate overall management and transfer of funds, thus enabling maintenance and increment of the value of personal assets.
6. Agency salary payment and agency collection & disbursement
Besides agency salary payment and other agency payment services for enterprises and public institutions, Bank of China also delivers bill-payment services to individual customers with regard to utilities fees for water, electricity, gas, fixed telephone and mobile phone.
7. The Great Wall National Fitness Card offers favorable and convenient payment. More than 20,000 BOC's privileged merchants cover various sports venues across China, offering game tickets and sports products. Customers can enjoy exceptional service at a favorable price.
Procedure
Any Chinese or foreign citizen with valid identity documents issued by the host country may apply for and get this card at any outlet of the Bank. For safety and convenience, customers are recommended to sign up for telephone banking and online banking at the same time.
