On June 26, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of Bank of China Limited, met with Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II of Brunei, at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing. They exchanged views on the implementation of the consensus reached by the two Heads of State and in the joint statement between the two countries. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in areas such as bonds investment, foreign exchange trading, and infrastructure project financing, thereby contributing more to China-Brunei economic and trade ties as well as the high-quality development of the overall bilateral relations.
